 Creamy Garlic Shrimp Pasta



Ingredients:


200g (7 oz) pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)

2 tbsp olive oil

400g (14 oz) shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tbsp butter

1 tsp lemon juice

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions:


1. Cook the pasta: Boil a large pot of salted water. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

2. Cook the shrimp: In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink. Remove the shrimp from the pan and set aside.

3. Sauté garlic: In the same pan, melt the butter and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

4. Make the sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and stir. Let it simmer for about 3-4 minutes until it thickens slightly. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

5. Combine: Add the cooked pasta and shrimp to the sauce. Toss everything together until well coated.

6. Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan if desired. Enjoy your creamy garlic shrimp pasta!
